Having previously toyed with prog-fashioned keyboard-heavy rock sounds, Jane III saw the German rock outfit concentrate on the twin guitars of the Klaus Hess and Wolfgang Krantz, with vocals handled by late drummer and founding member Peter Panka. And it’s that twin lead approach that gives the band their distinctive chugging broody style on this typically ethereal and spacey adventure that has an over riding hypnotic feel.
