The much-travelled Poco – originally formed by ex members of Buffalo Springfield – reach album 13 and move away from their country rock sound. From 1978, Legend sees Poco become more radio-friendly adding a funkier feel to their AOR sound while still retaining much of the harmony style that was present before. Rusty Young and Paul Cotton’s songs delivered two huge radio hits in Crazy Love and Heart Of The Night and Poco’s future as a mainstream seller was set.
