From 1981, Brubeck plays late night piano on a series of standards that include a tinkling ‘Music, Maestro, Please!’, and the standards ‘St Louis Blues’ (which Brubeck delivers solo) and ‘I Thought About You’, while the sax-led ‘I Hear A Rhapsody’ courtesy of Jerry Bergonzi and an upbeat take on the title track make this the best of his three album stint at Concord.
